PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, May 28, 2009 - The financial problems facing the embattled CLICO has claimed another victim, this time it’s the Trinidad and Tobago Attorney General Bridgid Annisette-George.

She will step down tomorrow after year and a half on the job because of a potential conflict of interest regarding the regional insurance company, according to Prime Minister Patrick Manning.

Politicians in Barbados do not appear to be concerned about any “potential” conflicts of interest with CLICO in that island.
