A Barbadian national who allegedly conspired with another man to defraud Huawei Technologies Ltd of some $26 million was remanded in custody when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court last Friday.

The fraud allegedly took place last year on September 18 while the accused, 34-year-old Jerry Small, was employed to the company as a general ledger accountant. …
