THE PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT of some lawyers may be called into question as a result of allegations of conflict of interest, third-party advertising and alleged collusion with some realtors and lending agencies in property transactions.
Investigations by the SATURDAY SUN have revealed that complaints have been made that some realtors are recommending specific legal entities to conduct property mortgage and cash purchase transactions for prospective clients with the catch that no legal fees will be incurred with relation to the sale of property.
The SATURDAY SUN was able to get a copy of a document which named some lawyers, as well as two lending agencies through which if clients conducted their cash purchases, the related professional fees would be waived.
The SATURDAY SUN has a document which named some lawyers, yet these names are withheld. Does anyone know who these lawyers are?
